Overview of our resources

The Libraries provide students and staff with a variety of resources to assist with your study, research and assignments.

Books/Video : You can search our catalogue for books, ebooks, dvds, streamed video titles, cds

Journals : Journal and magazine titles that we collect in print along with electronic journal titles can be located in our Library catalogue or Supersearch. A broad search of articles in those magazines can be done using Supersearch

Databases : Our databases are collections of journal articles, conference papers, dissertations, theses, images, video, even ebooks.  Access our individual database collections directly via the Databases link on our Library website.  We list our databases and other electronic resources in an A-Z list or grouped by broad subject headings

Web links : Access current and reliable information from various Government and non-government websites related to your course.

Reference Materials

Reference materials such as dictionaries, handbooks and encyclopedias, are a good starting point to gain an overview of your subject area. Here are just a few examples available in the Libraries.

You may search World Book and Oxford Reference online for dictionaries and handbooks by using the links below.  We have found a few examples for you.
