Overview of our resources

The Great Southern Institute Library can provide students and staff with a variety of resources to assist with your study, research and assignments.

Books/AV : You can search our catalogue for books, ebooks, DVDs, CDs.

Databases : You can access on and off campus a range of databases containing thousands of journal articles, newspaper articles, conference proceedings, theses, dissertations, company information.

Web links : Access to current information from various Government and non-government reliable websites related to your course.

Print Reference Materials

Reference materials such as dictionaries, handbooks and encyclopedias, are a good starting point to gain an overview of your subject area. Here are a few examples of print reference materials available in the Library that you may find useful:
