Aged Care: Home

HealthTalk Australia

HealthTalk interviewed 56 people (including six couples) about their experiences of ageing. Our researchers travelled to urban and regional areas throughout Australia to talk to people in their own homes. Participants spoke about what is important to them as they age; and what it feels like to be getting older – physically, mentally and in their social context. They talked about their changing personal relationships, pragmatic life decisions, health, illness and death.

"While it might be fun, I'm told bingeing Grey's Anatomy doesn't count as training to become a nurse in WA.
But don't stress, because we've just cut fees for Diploma of Nursing courses at WA TAFEs by 72%.
We've now slashed fees for 73 courses that teach in-demand skills, and created 15 new free TAFE Short Courses to upskill WA's workforce."
