I need my SmartMove Certificate. How do I access SmartMove?


Answer

You will need to complete two separate components to achieve your SmartMove Certificate. 

First you need to complete the General Module, followed by the Industry Specific Module that relates to your area of study.

Please ensure that you double check with your Lecturer that you are choosing the Correct Industry Specific Module prior to commencing this section. 

Click on the link below to sign up or login to Smartmove.

If you are accessing SmartMove for the first time you will need to click on Sign up at the bottom of the page.

  • Use your Student ID Number as your Username 
  • Create a password, taking into account the requirements listed on the website
  • Use your student email to register (studentid@tafe.wa.edu.au eg. 20123456@tafe.wa.edu.au or J123456@tafe.wa.edu.au)
  • Complete the other personal details that are requested
  • Under Additional Info choose I am a Student or I am an Apprentice/Trainee from the drop down menu
  • Under Please Select your School/Tafe, select North Metropolitan TAFE
  • Tick I am not a robot and complete the recaptcha exercise
  • The final step is to verify your account using the link that will be sent to your student email address. 

 If you have already registered you can login using your email address and the password that you created.
