Login Steps

First you MUST change your default password in either Office 365 (student email) or on a Student PC

It will take 48 hours after completing your enrolment for your account to become active in all our online systems. 


Connect to Student WiFi on your Device


Settings > WiFi > Student WiFi 


Settings > Network & Internet > WiFi > Student WiFi 


Click on the WiFi logo on the bottom left hand corner of the screen and select Student WiFi 


Click on the  WiFi logo on the Menu bar, and select Student WiFi from the list


Login to Student WiFi on your device

The Student WiFi login page should load automatically. If it doesn't, go to to force the login page to appear.

Enter your login details:

Username:          Student ID Number
Password:           Your Password (remember, you must change the default password first!)

Once you have logged in, you will not need to log in again for 90 days, however you will need to log in again if you change your password during this time. 
If you have any issues connecting to the WiFi, take your device to your campus Library for assistance.

Warning: If you are running a Bit Torrent when you try to log in to the WiFi your device will be quarantined and you will not be able to log in. 


Password Expiry

Your password will expire every 90 days - you MUST change it before it expires or you will be locked out of all our online systems. 

You can change your password on a Student PC by using CTRL+ALT+DELETE and choosing Change a Password. 

Or via the settings in Office 365 (student email) - click on the settings cog in the top right hand corner of your Office 365 account and choose change your password

About the Campus WiFi

  • The WiFi only gives you access to the Internet. You cannot print directly from the WiFi. 

  • Smart devices save passwords, so if you have changed your password, choose 'Forget This Network' and you will be able to login to the Student WiFi with your new password.
  • If you have trouble logging into your device on the WiFi, try to login to a Student PC as your password may have expired. Once your password has been changed, you will be able to login to the WiFi again.

Charging your Devices

  • The Perth and Joondalup Libraries have lockable Device Recharging Stations which can be used for laptops, tablets and phones, just ask the staff for help if you need it.


  • All Campus Libraries have Portable Battery Chargers that you can borrow to charge your phone or tablet. These come with either iPhone, Android or Android C cables depending on your device.


  • You are able to borrow these portable chargers for 2 hours at a time and can take them to class with you at all campuses.  



You must login to a Student PC or Office 365 to change your password before connecting to the WiFi for the first time.  After your password is changed, you can access the WiFi on your smart device.
