We offer orientations, both in the Library and in class, which include an introduction to online resources as well as physical resources. We can also deliver Information Literacy sessions including:

Find Relevant Course Resources
We can assist you in finding appropriate resources to enhance your teaching, both for addition to our Course Resources guides and for adding to your Blackboard shells.
This includes both physical and electronic resources including books and ebooks, video, journal articles and web sites.
Order New Resources for the Library Collections
We identify and order new resources in a variety of formats to support teaching and learning.
Lecturers are encouraged to recommend resources for us to purchase.
We have a focus on electronic resources, and will periodically trial new databases and ask for feedback, however we are also still happy to purchase physical resources as required.
Professional Development in Searching the Library's eResources
We offer ongoing professional development to all staff in the use of our Library Catalogue and Online Resources.
We are available to attend professional development days or staff meetings to upskill staff as a group and are always available for one on one sessions.
Just give your local campus Librarian a call or send an email and we can either come to you or you can come to us.
Create and Update Course Resources Guides
We have a large collection of Course Resources guides to support both staff in their subject delivery and students in their studies. We are always interested in hearing from you in relation to information that you would like to see on the guides.
We are also happy to create new guides for any new courses that the college offers.
