Magazines, journals, and other serials can be useful materials to practice your English reading skills on. All of our libraries collect some magazines in printed format. The magazines will be on subjects taught at the local campus.
Bentley - Cooking, food and drink, baking, fashion & textiles, and animals.
Murdoch - Gardening, horticulture, landscape design, nursing, floristry, beauty, hairdressing and massage.
Thornlie - Cars, and computers.
Carlisle - HVAC (heating, ventilation & air conditioning), and cars.

There are other free to read online magazines and websites such as Issuu.

We also encourage you to become a member of your local Public Library where you can borrow books, magazines, dvds and also read online magazines through sites such as Flipster.
Newspapers are also useful tools to practice your reading.
