End-Text Reference | : A reference list that is listed at the conclusion of your work. This list usually consists of all resources you have cited/referenced within your assignment. |
In-Text Citation | : A reference that is listed within the body of your work. Also known as a citation or in-text reference. |
Long Quote | : Word for word materials taken directly from another author's work, consisting more than 40 words in length. |
Paraphrasing | : Expressing other author's idea in your own words. A Paraphrase is also known as an indirect Quotation will need to be referenced. |
Plagiarism | : Copying the words and ideas of others without acknowledging correct ownership. Plagiarism may result in failure of a unit or entire course, fines, prevention from entry into professional associations and other disciplinary actions.
