All currently employed staff regardless of campus are eligible to borrow from the Library.
A staff ID card is usually required. Please present this card when using library services in person.
Staff may borrow up to 30 items at a time.

Please note that you are responsible for the safe return of all items you borrow.
Only borrow for your own use. Other staff or students are not permitted to use your ID card or library account.
If the item you need is on loan, you can recall or reserve it. We will hold it for you on its return.
Speak to Library Staff if you want to place a request. Requests can also be made through Supersearch. We will contact you when your request is ready to collect.
Most items can be renewed up to 3 times.
This can be done in person, by phone, email or via Supersearch.
Loans cannot be renewed if:
We will send a courtesy notice by email prior to an items due date.
If you do not return items by the due date you will receive a reminder notice.
If an item is not returned within a reasonable time, you will be charged for the cost plus a non-refundable administration fee.
Staff with outstanding accounts may have their borrowing privileges suspended.
We offer a range of orientation and training sessions for staff soon after commencement of employment, as well as on demand. Refreshers are also available.
Orientation sessions explain the use of the library facilities, the services we offer, your copyright obligations and more.
Personal training sessions can be provided on how to use Supersearch, how to use our Databases, find Australian Standards, use our streaming video collections and more.
Please contact your local Library staff to discuss your needs or to make an appointment.
You can book training sessions for your class and if required these can be tailored to suit your course.
We value your input in suggesting new resources for the Library. Your subject knowledge and training expertise is essential input for us to purchase relevant collection resources.

Using quality information resources with your students is an essential part of your training delivery, but what if the copyright of that resource is owned by somebody else?
In order to comply with your obligations under the Copyright Act, you need to understand the requirements of the Act in an educational institution, and to label (attribute) resources correctly.

Access to standards is automatic on campus and you will be listed as an anonymous user.
If you have a standard that is not currently part of the Colleges' subscription, please email your request to the library.
Off campus access requires you to login with your college network username and password.
To access the Standards off campus, you must have the FileOpen plugin installed on your device.
